Legislative Update - An In Depth Look At Emerging Issues Impacting Pharmacy Stakeholders

Activity Description:
The start of 2019 has seen a wide range of national and and state legislative/regulatory policies springing up that will impact pharmacy’s bottom line. This wide ranging discussion will prepare pharmacy stakeholders for a look at emerging trends to stop unnecessary policy surprises.

Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians Learning Objectives:
1. Define new reimbursement trends such as DIR, value based care, step therapy
2. Identify the spike in importation friendly legislation
3. Describe updates on relevant compounding issues such as the MOU and relevant legislation

This is a knowledge-based CE activity and is targeted to pharmacists and technicians.
